Brooklyn trio, Sunflower Bean, is having a super busy 2018. The trio already released their skuzzy sophomore album earlier this year “Twentytwo In Blue,” however, that creative output wasn’t enough. Fans are in store for an EP of new jams with the announcement of “King of the Dudes.”

Lead vocalist Julia Cumming channels the spirit of classic Joan Jett on the lead single, “Come for Me.” Fans may notice there’s a glossier take on their signature pop-gutter sound with producer Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX, Angel Olsen) taking the helm on the new project scheduled for a January 25th, 2019 release via Mom + Pop.
Look for Sunflower Bean to hit the road with fellow New Yorkers, Interpol in the new year and an overseas jaunt to round out the rest of 2018.
