Grapetooth hails from the city of where most of the late director John Hughes filmed the bulk of his flicks, Chicago. The similarities don’t end there. Grapetooth sound as if they could’ve taken up a spot on the soundtrack from the aforementioned young adult Hughes movies wherein the underachieving affable protagonist rises to the top to gain the favor of the film lead.

Grapetooth consists of the duo: Chris Bailoni (Home-Sick) and Clay Frankel (Twin Peaks). The two are beholden to the music influenced by the decade that gave us Alf. Bailoni and Frankel are slated to release their debut full length November 7 via Polyvinyl.
