Savages takes “Adore” to the Colbert

Savages tour dates

Savages’ no shit approach to music bleeds on lead vocalist’s Jehnny Beth’s every word. The Matador act brings raw energy that eviscerates audiences with an honesty that is rarely seen in music. Last night’s resounding take of “Adore” was one of the more brilliant quiet loud performances at the Ed Sullivan Theatre. What’s even better is that despite no solo date in Denver, an opening spot for LCD Soundsystem August 2-3 is on the docket. Savages’ latest album, “Adore Life,” is out everywhere via Matador Records.
