Looks like Cassius was holed up in the studio with some big names.The Frenchies released the jumpy single, “Action,” with guest vocals from Cat Power and Beastie Boy, Mike D. Turns out that Chan Marshall liked it so much, she hung out and stayed a while. Like three tracks worth. Hired gun and OneRepublic frontman, Ryan Tedder, is one of the marquee names that is also featured on more than one track for the upcoming album, “Ibifornia,” set to drop June 24. Philippe Cerboneschi and Hubert Blanc-Francard embark on a journey that is eight years in the making. Or at least that’s how long it’s been since fans have seen anything from the duo. Listen to two more tracks off of the forthcoming album that oozes of summer.
