The headliners have been released for this year’s Westword Music Showcase June 13th. This year may actually be my first ever going. I’m crossing fingers, but I’m always out of town the week they have the doggone thing. Built to Spill, Mudhoney, the Fluid, and Meese. Not bad….
Hi, friends! Angora Holly Polo here, flown fresh in from the Donnybrook Writing Academy. I’m house-sitting for Cause=Time! Julio had to go to Canada and drink chamomile with Kevin Drew. Either that, or he’s in Florida, I forget. So I stole his blogger login, and now I’m listening to all his records and eating his cheetos.
I do have a few announcements for you.
1.) D. Biddle is having their CD release party tomorrow.

Brothers and sisters, the Donnybrook Writing Academy was lucky enough to get an advance copy and we loved it. For a full review, go here. Good show + free CD = excellent.
2.) I know this isn’t for a week, but I won’t be here then to hold your hand – you have to check out the Food Fight Comedy Night June 19th.
Basically, it’s like a gong show where the bad comedians get booed offstage – only you get to throw food at them! Throw food! At the Lion’s Lair.
