The Buttertones look like a quartet come to life from the pages of NME.

The brooding Californians announced the pending release of their fifth LP, “Jazzhound,” scheduled out via Innovative Leisure May 10. 

Listen to the title cut below and try to resist the overwhelming urge to put on your favorite pair of sunglasses indoors. Lead vocalist Richard Araiza howls very much like a “Jazzhound” on the titular cut while keeping up  with the hypnotizing bass line throughout the single. 

Catch The Buttertones on tour starting in April with label-mates, Iguana Death Cult.
