Down Time ‘s video for “Not a Complicated Person” starts off as an ABC sitcom set in Denver on the lost, but not forgotten years of success on “TGIF” rubbing elbows with “Family Matters” and “Step by Step.”

What’s even better is that the video is broken into three different segments wherein there’s a cooking show with baked goods, but the joke is on the viewer because our affable characters end up as food items on the other side of the kitchen table. Lastly, a pair of roller skates transitions the trio to the Arvada Skate City in full costume.

Lead vocalist Alyssa Maunders captures a sincere level of earnestness with her melodic voice that harmonizes well with the warbly guitar playing of Justin Camili.

Notable Denver husband/wife act, Tennis, produced the upcoming full- length from the Mile High trio titled, “Hurts Being Alive,” scheduled for release March 6.
