I’ve always found it interesting that “Best of” lists come at the beginning of December.

That leaves the whole last month of the year completely ignored or forgotten, like, say, Kaytranada’s upcoming release Friday, December 13.

On the sophomore album by the Canadian producer, Kaytranada might or might not have one of the most electrifying albums of the year with “Bubba” scheduled for release via RCA Records.

Based on the Kali Uchis collaboration of “10%,” it’s a damn good start. Louis Kevin Celestin keeps to his glossy vibe formula on the snippet that fully accentuates Kali’s sensual aesthetic. Fans will notice that “Bubba” also includes collaborations with Iman Omari, Mick Jenkins, Masego, VanJess, Estelle, Pharrell Williams and more.

Only a small number of shows are listed right now in support of “Bubba,” but 2020 is young and bet that there will be more live shows announced.
