Alex Cameron gets real on his new “Divorce”

Alex Cameron is now living the life of a 30-something divorcee for his new album.

Cameron immerses himself into the life of his miserable character that he’s currently emulating on his latest album for Secretly Canadian titled “Miami Memory” scheduled for release September 13.

On the latest snippet from the forthcoming project from the Roy Molloy associate, Cameron talks about constipation and bills in the song “Divorce.” The true life of what it’s like “adulting.” Things start to get real when Alex bargains with his fictitious spouse – ” I’ve got friends in Kansas City with a motherfucking futon couch if that’s how you wanna play it.”

For those of you that have never been married, things tend to get a little heated when arguing about menial things at times and Cameron captures the true essence of what married life can be when stuck in a rut.

Look for Alex and Roy to roll into town on a world tour that ends in December.
