Longwave returns after a ten-year break

The last time rock outfit Longwave released new music, our country ushered in a young President Obama into office. But rewind even more, like fifteen years. The release of their debut album “The Strangest Things” lit a bright light in a New York City landscape that was littered with similar acts like Stellastar that rubbed elbows on the television show, “The OC.”

Fans, the wait is over. Ten years have passed since the release of Longwave’s third album, “Silence is Sinister.” We don’t have official album news, but we do have new music. “Stay With Me” is the name of the first official single from the indie rock act via Bodan Kuma Recordings in the form of a 7″ release with “Dreamers Float Away” as the “B” side. All we can say is that it was worth the wait. Stay tuned for news of a hopeful fourth album.
