Listen to Colter Wall’s “Songs of the Plains”

If the Cormac McCarthy trilogy were to be accompanied with a soundtrack, it would be the music of Colter Wall. The Canadian artist is scheduled to release his sophomore album this Friday that’s garnering the attention of country fans with the pending “Songs of the Plains” release. Wall possesses a baritone voice reminiscent of a young Waylon Jennings matched with a tremendous songwriting ability.

Noisey has an advance stream ahead of the official release of “Songs of the Plains” out this Friday that’ll have you grabbing a pair of shit kickers and a beat up pick up truck. Look for Wall to hit the road this month with his tour ending in Denver.
