Shakey Graves delivers another gem with “Mansion Door”

Shakey Graves has come a long way from busking outside of Edward Sharpe shows seven years ago.Alejandro Rose-Garcia is a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll and everything inbetween. The Austin troubadour is on a rampage as of late with litte nuggets(“Counting Sheep” and “Kids These Days”) from his forthcoming album, “Can’t Wake Up,” scheduled to be released by Dualtone on May 4.

The latest offering is a country tinged Pixie influenced number titled “Mansion Door” that radiates all the warmth of the Texas Hill Country that Travis County has to offer. “Can’t Wake Up” marks the fifth full length album with a North American tour that wraps up at Red Rocks in late August.
