Things are going full force with Now, Now after a five-year departure that ended in May 2017. The resurgent Minneapolis act has slowly been releasing singles here and there since last year culminating in the release of their first length album in six years with “Saved,” scheduled for release via Trans Records May 18.

Cacie Dalager and company are making exciting and unapologetic pop music that doesn’t sound played out making “Saved” one of my anticipated albums of 2018. In their ominious video for “AZ,” Dalager appears in dim lighting and soaking wet clothing leading viewers to believe that the lead vocalist has been kidnapped or being held against her will. In either case, we’re just happy to have Now, Now back.

Check out their 2018 SXSW Fader Fort appearance wherein the Minnesota crew makes playing an afternoon set look mighty appealing in the Austin sun.
