One of Ohio’s more prolific singer songwriters released her fourth LP with the introduction of “Sorry Is Gone” released via ATO Records. On her latest album, Mayfield masterfully matches tears of joy and sorrow with her every note in what you would here at the nearest honky tonk. “Sorry Is Gone” includes a slew of contributorsthat includes: Seth Avett on backing vocals and keys, drummer Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth, Sun Kil Moon), bassist Emil Amos (Grails, Holy Sons) and guitarist Cameron Deyell (Sia, Streets of Laredo).
