This might come as a surprise to many of you, but Washed Out’s alias is “Mister Mellow.” At least the music of Ernest Greene to date has been everything that embodies the title of his forthcoming full album via Stones Throw and not Sub Pop.

Washed Out released their last full length “Paracosm” back in 2013 with the marquee single, “Don’t Give Up.” This time around, things get funk. At least that’s what the short(ish) preview would have you believe. The added jazz element adds an additional layer to the already chill wave aesthetic that Washed Out helped create.

Amongst releasing a new album via Stones Throw Records, June 30. Amongst creating new memories with his current band, Greene looks to join Team Gorilla Vs Bear as booking agent extraordinaire with the assistance on the GVSB FESTIVAL with Gorilla vs Bear.
