Sheesh. As if you didn’t think that the first wave of acts announced for the 2017 UYnderground Music Showcase was enough, the sultans of live music on South Broadway double downed on more action. Team UMS scored a certifiable moody headliner with the booking of the dark temptress, Zola Jesus who announced today the release of a new album “Okovi” out via Sacred Bones September 8. Psych rockers Sleepy Sun and local pop warriors, Edison own the top billing for the second wave of acts announced today. Tickets for the festival can be purchased here and be on the lookout for a third installment of acts to be announced to the already robust lineup.
