Summer is upon us, and on this Friday, I resolve to get out more and summer hard.There are hikes to be had, trails to be blazed and happy hours to be shared. I resolve to read the pile of books on my nightstand instead of being sidetracked by my phone. Summer nights at the baseball park are magical, even when you’re sitting on the extremely durable metal seats of the Rockpile area at Coors Field.

There’s a swing in the front of my house that I’ve used less than a handful of times. Life goes by too fast. I need to enjoy my free moments. Not every waking second do I need to be “doing something.” There are places in my beautiful state that I have yet to visit. Telluride and Palisade, you guys are officially on notice. I’ve logged several shows at Red Rocks this season. I need to bump that up significantly. Hell, any outdoor shows will do. I’m looking your way, Mishawaka.

I consider myself as having a decent understanding of how to grill, but this is the year that I learn how to grill proper ribs. Namely pork. Hell, I might even do beef ones while I’m at it. More importantly, what are you guys going to do differently this summer?
