The unseeming duo of Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam yielded a Walkmen album without the sorrow. The ex-Walkmenfrontman and Vampire Weekend beat master joined forces bringing both out of their respective comfort zones.

Hamilton Leithauser is most comfortable approaching songwriting with a morose pen, whereas Rostam brings complex beat structures to the party. The final result is an inspired album that you can stream below via NPR.
