Nada Surf set to release new album

It has been almost twenty years since MTV was littered with a particular video about jocks and cheerleaders. The year was 1996 and “Popular” by Nada Surf broke down the high school social pyramid. Many had left Matt Caws and the boys for dead with a one hit jam. Since the 90’s, the venerable indie act have consistently churned out melodic pop anthems with the sheer earnestness behind the vocals of Caws.

2012 saw Nada Surf release their last batch of original material with “The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy .” Look for the Barsuk act to release “You Know Who You Are” to drop March 4. In the meantime, listen to the infectious first single, “Believe You’re Mine” below.
