Every week we’re lambasted with free streams by everybody and everywhere. This week’s album streams come from two acts from opposite coasts who aren’t strangers to the scene.

Silversun Pickups is hustling their latest album, “Neck of the Woods,” out via Dangerbird. It’s their third album and the second since their stellar debut “Swoon.” After a couple of listens, the vast majority of the album is radio ready and should get plenty of airplay.

Beach House is out to prove that “Teen Dream” was no fluke with their latest release, “Bloom.” Maybe it’s me, but I always feel like I’m being sedated when I listen to Beach House? Like in a good way, the type when you go to the doctor’s office and they give you those muscle relaxers that make you feel like you’re melting. Yeah. Like that. Listen to “Bloom” via NPR.
