Sometime you can listen to acts and know that their music is destined to appear on the next Nissan commercial, “Gossip Girl” or one of those coming of ages flicks. It’s sometimes a guilty pleasure or unabashed sugarcoated pop music that sticks in your head for the rest of the day. Foster the People do it in a way that’s comfortable and not intrusive. They’re currently making the rounds with their debut EP, and releasing a full length, “Torches,” this May. Catch them on tour, SXSW, Coachella and Sasquatch. Look for the SoCal kids to play Jimmy Kimmel on release date, May 24th.
