Willie Nelson, patron saint for pot smokers everywhere, got busted in Sierra Blanca, TX (about 90 mins from my hometown of El Paso) with six ounces of marijuana at the check point by Border Patrol according to the El Paso Times. According to Texas law, Willie is looking at 180 days – 2 years in jail and a $10,000 fine. This piece of news may serve as a lightening rod for pot legislation across the US. Legalize it!
