One of my worst dreams I feared is coming close to fruition.The Denver sports scene is in jeopardy of becoming the new Cleveland. Melo is on his way out and there’s nothing stopping him. The only upside to his departure is the promise of new talent that might hustle and play some defense. The Broncos seem to kick any sign of talent out the door (i.e. Scheffler, Cutler, Hillis, Marshall, etc….), and the Rockies checked out of the playoff race a week too early. The dark ages ALMOST seems evident and the only reason I’m watching the games on Sundays is because of my fantasy team.
