This past SXSW, the weather was nice from Wednesday-Friday. Satuday, however, was a different story. All the SXSW’ers reached for the closest hoody or scarf they could find. Yourstru.ly caught up with Nathaniel Rateliff and an acoustic guitar outside of Austin with a bunch of kids trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of 6th St. Check out the beautiful rendition of “Boil and Fight” caught in the Austin rain. Don’t forget that he has his full length album, “In Memory of Loss”, scheduled to be released on May 4th (via Rounder Records) and for you lucky Denver kids, he will be doing a free in-store performance at Twist and Shout that same day starting at 6pm.
