The duo of James Mercer and Danger Mouse Oh’d and Wow’d a secret show last night at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles. Broken Bells covered “Crimson and Clover” and Neutral Milk Hotel! I could definitely get with that. The duo will be playing the NPR Showcase at SXSW 2010 alongisde Sharon Dap, the Walkmen, Visqueen, and Spoon. The duo have announced a new London show, but no US tour as of YET (crossing fingers)! I’ll keep my eye out for any video as well of last night’s show. Broken Bells S/T is out 3/9 via Columbia.

I had the wonderful chance as well to attend this the first Broken Bells show. I agree a not so secret show, but oh so good. Good vibes all around.
