Being out on tour with the Dirty Projectors has it’s perks. Lots of people are starting to take notice, despite the record being released earlier this year. They had been by the Lion’s Lair here in Denver earlier this year, but it wasn’t till they opened up for Sunset Rubdown that I was able to see for myself on what the fuzz was all about with lead singer Merrill Garbus. Her recorded loops on stage and manic shrieking on stage make for beautiful freakouts.
