Last July, Merge Records celebrated twenty years in the record business. A lot has changed in those twenty years. Tapes were being weeded out by the CD and now future generations will never know what it was like to wait on a Monday night for that ONE release they’ve been waiting for as dedicated fans. To commemorate this great feat, they held a festival with their artists. Chances are, you probably missed it, but Babelgum was on hand to record the four days of glory.
